Photo 27 Oct Well, hello, DSLR. I broke my camera during my trip to Chicago, so my photo-taking abilities were hindered in the past week, but I was still knitting away. Here’s a hat I finished yesterday for Tori, who needed a winter hat that would match all three of her winter coats [black, brown, and dark green]. She gave me full creative license on color and style, so hopefully she’ll love it.
[Psst. Need a hat like this? Get in touch. Amanda Lee at Amanda Lee dot org. You know the drill.]

Photo 22 Oct Woohoo, borrowed my roommate’s SLR, since my camera seems to be broken.
I finished this hat over the weekend. It’s a present for my good friend Jay.
I’ve got a couple more, in both blue and grey, that’ll be up for sale [$22] on my Etsy shop as soon as I find a better model. [Want one of your own, or want a different color? Email me. Amanda Lee at Amanda Lee dot org.]

Photo 17 Oct I’m in Chicago. Last night I finished this arm warmer. Crocheted in neon pink acrylic, it’s part of a hat/scarf/arm warmer set for a client. It won’t be up on Etsy, but if you want a pair, email me: amandalee at amandalee dot org. Let’s talk. But for now, Ima go knit a hat on the El. G’day, everyone.

Photo 15 Oct Jellyfish, knitted with button eyes. Made by knitting a sphere in one flat piece [I’m not a fan of the double-pointed needle method of knitting circular ofjects], and then sewn with a crochet seam up the back. Tentacles made in the same way you’d made a fringe on a scarf. Stuffed with repurposed t-shirt scraps. The yarn is an ages-old Red Heart acrylic, white speckled with bits of yellow and pink and blue. I’ve got a ton of it left, so maybe Jellyfish will have some brothers and sisters.

I’m going to put this on Etsy later, but my friend wants to make a short video with it first. I’ll link it when it goes up.

Video 14 Oct 3 notes

Crocheted from multicolored wool-acrylic blend that was a remnant of an old project of Chris Collins’. Cheery, adorable, warm. For sale on Etsy, $22+shipping.
